US Constitution Commemorative Gold Coin

Back in 2007, the United States Mint released a new series of $10 gold coins to commemorate the spouses of previous Presidents of the United States. These coins which came to be known as the First Spouse Gold Coins were created with half an ounce of gold along with a dazzling portrait of the first spouses on the obverse side of the coin…while the reverse side of the coin features the life and work of the First Spouse featured on the coin.
This series of gold coins is just one of the commemorative gold coins manufactured by the United States Mint. The US Congress Bicentennial Gold Coin was issues…and many coin collectors agreed that it is just as striking and dazzling as the previous commemorative gold coins created during the yesteryears. It features the image of the Capitol Dome on the obverse side of the coin. On the reverse side, you will find the picture of an eagle located on top of a canopy, which is located at the Old Senate building. Just like commemorative gold coin discussed above, about a million of these commemorative gold coins were manufactured.
